Supporting Step and Learn

Step and Learn are a small charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with physical disabilities through Conductive Education.

King Edward VII started supporting Step and Learn in 2023. The Lodge has continued with their support for this very worthwhile charity by making a donation for 2024/5 of £1504. Step and Learn is a service for children up to the age of 16 years.

The purpose of Step and Learn is to provide Conductive Education sessions to children in Medway and Kent who are affected by Movement Disorders. Movement Disorders includes but is not limited to Cerebral Palsy, Step and Learn endeavour to support any child with other neurological or genetic conditions. The Lodge’s initial sponsorship was for three-year-old twin boys, and we are now currently sponsoring a 2-year-old girl.
