White Table

King Edward VII Lodge hosted a White Table Social evening on Monday 11th May 2026 for Members and their families, friends and guests.  

Everyone enjoyed the evening which consisted of a four course meal and musical accompaniment.  A raffle was held with money being raised for the Make A Wish Charity. In total £300 will be donated to a very worthwhile cause.
 

King Edward VII Lodge No. 3252 has received a sincere thank-you letter from Make-A-Wish UK for the donation of £300, which supports their work with critically ill children and their families. This donation, part of the Lodge's fundraising efforts in May, follows a previous contribution of £400 in December, bringing the total support to £700 over the last six months. The letter also conveyed their thanks for the generosity of the Lodge's Brethren and supporters, highlighting the impact of such donations in providing joy, comfort, and hope to families across the UK. 

Make-A-Wish UK is dedicated to fulfilling life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses and these can range from magical experiences like trips to Disneyland Paris to simpler, yet just as meaningful opportunities to create treasured family memories during difficult times.  

The thank-you note emphasizes that every fundraising effort and donation can significantly impact the lives of those facing extraordinary challenges.
